“It is a lot of driving from Sydney and I was disappointed with different aspects of each venue. First one was interesting with best wine of the day but site under disrepair. The spirits I could have done without… they all had edible glitter and colorings in them which in my mind detracted from taste. The third venue is where we had lunch and the wine and cheese pairing. “That was an awesome experience. Julez was an amazing guide. She knows everything and everyone in Hunter Valley and had a lot of 'cousins' everywhere. She took some detours to show us some mobs of kangoroos that live in the wineries, really nice. We were a small group of only 6, that of course added to the great experience. “Brilliant tour out with Drew, our driver and tour guide for the day :) Pick up was on time, and we visited 4 beautiful vineyards/ wineries, 1 distillery and had a lovely pizza lunch out overlooking some beautiful greenery/ scenery! Bonus is that we spotted a troop of kangaroos on our way back to Sydney, which was the icing on the cake.
